Dr Zabik Zabik

Dr Michel Zabik has worked alongside Carl Burroughs for over 20 years, during which time they co-owned, successfully grew, and sold two dental practices. This experience means Michel combines exceptional clinical expertise with strong business acumen, giving him a unique perspective on the operational, strategic, and financial aspects of professional dental practices. He has also owned and managed other businesses outside of dentistry, further enhancing his commercial insight.

Born in the UK, Michel has practised in Queensland for the past 25 years alongside his wife, also a dentist, and their four children. Since graduating in 1988 with awards in Periodontology and Restorative Dentistry, he has practised exclusively in Reconstructive, Orthodontic, and Aesthetic dentistry. Michel has advanced skills in Holistic Dentistry, Mouth Reconstruction, Cosmetic Dentistry, and full-mouth rehabilitation, and has completed extensive training in Australia and overseas, including with Dr Bill Dorfman of Extreme Makeover and at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dentistry.

Michel became interested in Advanced Orthodontics after years of full-mouth reconstruction, recognising the critical importance of optimal tooth positioning. He completed the highly regarded POS, a two-year orthodontic training program, and was awarded an ICCDE Fellowship in orthodontics. He provides comprehensive orthodontic treatment alongside his reconstructive and aesthetic practice.

Michel’s combination of clinical excellence and business experience makes him an invaluable member of the PPS Advisory Board, providing strategic guidance to ensure dental practices are optimised for growth, efficiency, and long-term value.
